Adam Waito is a Toronto-based illustrator and musician. Before moving to Toronto in 2016 he lived in Montreal for 12 years. He grew up in Thunder Bay, Ontario, and was born in a northern mining village called Manitouwadge, which means “Cave of the Great Spirit.”

Adam has been prolific as a musician/producer in Montreal (and more recently Toronto) since the early 2000s. You can learn more about Adam’s past and present musical projects here. Bridging his involvement with the music scene with his career as an illustrator is Adam’s immense body of gig poster work: Adam has produced more than 300 concert posters in Montreal and Toronto between 2011 and 2017. He also produces many of the visual promotional materials for Montreal concert promoter Blue Skies Turn Black.
